GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Lynn

Right to Speedy Trial; creates time limits within which person charged with crime must be brought to trial; permits state attorneys to file demand for speedy trial; provides conditions that must be met in order to do so; requires that trial judge schedule calendar call upon filing of demand for speedy trial in order to schedule trial; prescribes conditions under which trial court may postpone trial date.
