GENERAL BILL by Hasner ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Goodlette ; Homan ; Stargel ; Zapata
Mortgages/Certificates of Release; provides for issuance of certificate of release for mortgage by title insurer or its authorized agent for certain purposes; specifies contents of certificate of release; requires execution, acknowledgment, & recordation of certificate of release by certain entities; requires Financial Services Commission to adopt rules establishing actuarially sound premium charge for certificates of release, etc. Creates 701.041; repeals 701.05.
