Police, Fire, SAR Dogs/Police Horses; prohibits intentionally & knowingly, without justification, causing great bodily harm to or using deadly weapon upon said animals; prohibits actually & intentionally maliciously touching, striking, or causing bodily harm to said animals; prohibits maliciously harassing, teasing, interfering with, or attempting to interfere with said animals while animal is in performance of its duties; provides for restitution from violators, etc. Amends 843.19.
