GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Joyner

Debts & Debtors [LPCC]; provides that personal property of specified value is exempt from legal process if debtor does not receive homestead exemption; permits foreclosure notices to be published in certain newspapers that publish at least 5 days a week except during legal holidays; defines term "claims bar date"; authorizes consensual lienholder only to enforce security interest against assets of estate, etc. Amends Ch. 727, 222.25, 702.035.
