SB 178: Motor Vehicle Insurance/Foster Children [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Wilson

Motor Vehicle Insurance/Foster Children [SPCC]; Directs the Department of Children and Family Services to create a 3-year pilot program in Miami-Dade County. Provides that the program reimburse foster parents, residential facilities, or foster children who live independently for a portion of the increased costs of motor vehicle insurance for a foster child who has a driver's license. Provides a formula for the amount of reimbursement to be provided, etc.
