GENERAL BILL by Wise
Change of Name/Petition [LPCC]; Requires that a person filing a petition for change of name submit fingerprints for a state and national criminal history records check before the court hearing on the petition. Provides exceptions for those seeking to restore a former name and those seeking to change names in connection with adoptions and dissolutions of marriages. Provides procedures for the taking and submission of fingerprints, etc.
