SB 7046: Public Service Commission

PROPOSED BILL by Communications and Public Utilities

Public Service Commission; Renames the Committee on Public Service Commission Oversight, a standing joint committee of the Legislature, as the "Committee on Public Counsel Oversight." Deletes the committee's authority to recommend to the Governor nominees to fill the vacancies on the Public Service Commission. Increases the number of members on the Public Service Commission Nominating Council, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
