Sales Tax Exemption/Hurricane Preparedness Items [LPCC]; Provides an exemption from the sales and use tax for sales of certain tangible personal property related to hurricane preparedness from June 1, 2008, through June 12, 2008, with exceptions being made for sales within public lodging establishments, theme parks, entertainment complexes, or airports. APPROPRIATION: $289,100.
