SB 1358: Infant Eye Care [SPSC]

Infant Eye Care [SPSC]; Requires certain eye examinations for all infants born in hospitals in the state. Revises an exception to the applicability of certain requirements concerning infant eye care. Clarifies the application of a penalty. Provides that coverage for children under health insurance policies and HMO contracts must include certain eye examinations for infants and children. Provides that the act fulfills an important state interest. Provides for application.
