SB 2048: Medicaid

GENERAL BILL by Braynon

Medicaid; Authorizes the AHCA, in collaboration with the DOH, to develop a home and community-based services Medicaid waiver program to serve children diagnosed with Trisomy 18, subject to federal waiver approval, the availability of funds, and certain limitations. Establishes the Health and Wellness Recruitment Act. Requires the Florida Public Health Institute, Inc., and the DOH, in cooperation with state and local governments, to create and administer plans to reduce the cost of health care services to adults and children, etc.
