SB 864: Certificates of Need

GENERAL BILL by Health Regulation

Certificates of Need; Extends until July 1, 2016, provisions authorizing the Agency for Health Care Administration to automatically grant a nursing home's request for a reduction in annual Medicaid patient days as a condition of its certificate of need in specified circumstances. Extends the moratorium on nursing home certificates of need until July 1, 2016. Provides conditions to be met by nursing homes in order to qualify for an exemption to the moratorium on certificates of need for nursing home facilities.
