SJR 1020: Naming of Public Buildings and Facilities
JOINT RESOLUTION by Garcia
Naming of Public Buildings and Facilities; Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to prohibit the naming of public buildings and facilities for a person not deceased for a certain period of time unless approved by a four-fifths vote of the governmental body enacting the designation, except that no such building or facility may be named for a public officer while that person is in public office, etc.
