Nonpartisan Elections for State Attorneys and Public Defenders; Revising provisions governing candidate qualifying to conform with the redesignation of the offices of state attorney and public defender as nonpartisan offices; removing the requirement that a state political party chair provide certain notification in the event of a vacancy in nomination for the office of state attorney or public defender, to conform; requiring that the listing of candidates on a ballot for the offices of state attorney and public defender identify the applicable judicial circuit, etc.
