CS/SB 836: Medication Technicians

GENERAL BILL by Health Policy ; Brodeur

Medication Technicians; Requiring that assisted living facility residents who are able to use their point-of-care devices without assistance be encouraged and allowed to do so; authorizing medication technicians to assist assisted living facility residents with their use of point-of-care devices under certain circumstances; providing minimum requirements and specifications for the training of medication technicians; requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to adopt rules establishing such requirements, etc.
