Independent Hospital Districts; Provides requirements for conversion of independent hospital district to nonprofit entity; requires independent entity to evaluate such conversion; requires evaluation be completed & presented to district within specified timeframe; provides for negotiation of agreement between each affected county & district; provides requirements for agreement; requires certain disclosures; requires referendum under certain circumstances; requires district to file copy of agreement with & provide certain notification to DEO within specified timeframe.
