Citizens Crime Watch has been a leader for 28 years in implementing Neighborhood Watch programs in multi-cultural communities, therefore police agencies depend on our expertise in out-reach programs, obtain materials in appropriate languages and training on how to work with immigrants dealing with crime prevention on their communities. The President has mandated increasing Neighborhood Watch for better Homeland Security, therefore making us a unique resource for statewide police departments and crime prevention agencies.

Project Description:
Implementation of Neighborhood Watch programs in multicultural communities. Educate newly arrived immigrants in partnering with law enforcement, train residents in Homeland Security techniques, training law enfrocement in implementing Neighborhood Watch in immigrant communities through out Florida, educate youth in schools regarding crime prevention, create Spanish, Creole, and English educational materials in crime prevention, homeland security and yourth crime prevention.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase the number of Neighborhood Watch programs throughout the State of Florida, increase Neighborhood Watch groups in multicultural areas, bringing a reduction of crime in high-risk areas, including sorrounding schools. Training law enforcement in working with immigrants in order to establish better communication with regards to crime, terrorism alerts and quality of life issues enforcement in working with immgrants in order to establish better communication with regards to crime, terrorism alerts and quality of life issues.
