This bill recreates the Welfare Transition Trust Fund, without modifications, within the Department of Education. This fund serves asa depository for receiving federal funds under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program. This funding has historically been used to support working families receiving services through Florida’s School Readiness Program.
If approved by the Governor, these provisions take effect July 1, 2014.
