235.436  Definitions.--

(1)  "Full school utilization program" means any program which ensures more effective and efficient use of school facilities, equipment, and personnel for the regular school program. Full school utilization programs include, but are not limited to, year-round school and extended school day programs, evening and weekend programs, and use of schools by parks and recreation departments to offer planned and supervised recreational activities.

(2)  "Year-round school program" means any program in which some portion of the student body is in attendance in the regular school program during each season of the year.

(3)  "Extended school day program" means any school program which extends beyond the minimum statutory requirement for a school day, as specified in s. 228.041(13).

(4)  "Full school utilization planning grant" means a grant which is used to explore the feasibility of implementing a full school utilization program.

(5)  "Full school utilization implementation grant" means a grant which is used to develop a full school utilization program.
