177.061  Qualification of person making survey and plat certification.--Every subdivision of lands made within the provisions of this chapter shall be made under the responsible direction and supervision of a surveyor and mapper who shall certify on the plat that the plat is a true and correct representation of the lands surveyed, that the survey was made under his or her responsible direction and supervision, and that the survey data complies with all of the requirements of this chapter. The certification shall bear the signature, the registration number, and the official seal of the surveyor and mapper.
