SECTION 196
Architects Incidental Trust Fund; creation; assessment.

1215.196  Architects Incidental Trust Fund; creation; assessment.--

(1)  There is created the Architects Incidental Trust Fund for the purpose of providing sufficient funds for the operation of the 2Division of Building Construction.

(2)  The 2division is authorized to levy and assess an amount necessary to cover the cost of administration by the 2division of fixed capital outlay projects on which it serves as owner representative on behalf of the state. The assessment rate is to be provided in the General Appropriations Act and statement of intent and shall be based on estimated operating cost projections for the services rendered. The total assessment shall be transferred into the Architects Incidental Trust Fund at the beginning of each fiscal year.

1Note.--Section 1, ch. 97-143, provides that "[t]he Architects Incidental Trust Fund within the Department of Management Services, which was created by section 215.196, Florida Statutes, and which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created."

2Note.--Deleted in the reorganization of the Department of Management Services by s. 3, ch. 97-296. Section 4, ch. 97-296, requires the Division of Statutory Revision to prepare a reviser's bill for submission to the 1998 Regular Session of the Legislature substituting references to the Department of Management Services in the Florida Statutes for references to divisions, bureaus, or other units of that department.
