651.117  Duties of the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.--Whenever an order of liquidation has been entered against a provider, the receiver shall notify the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services by sending to the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services by certified mail a copy of the order of liquidation. Upon receipt of any such order or when requested by the receiver as being in the best interest of the residents of a facility, in addition to any other duty of the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services with respect to residents of a facility, the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services shall evaluate the status of the residents of the facility to determine whether they are eligible for assistance or for programs administered by the ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, shall develop a plan of relocation with respect to residents requesting assistance regarding relocation, and shall counsel the residents regarding such eligibility and such relocation.
