Judge to Issue Order Striking Down Congressional Map as Unconstitutional

"I applaud Judge Smith’s ruling as it’s a win for the people of Florida who voted for Fair Districts and expect the redistricting process to be free from partisan influence. It also reaffirms why our Caucus unanimously rejected the map offered by the Governor as it clearly eliminated African-American access seats and denied African-American voters their constitutional right for representation."
