Tallahassee —

On Monday, March 7 at 10 a.m., Senator Victor Torres, La Mesa Boricua de Florida, and allies will celebrate Puerto Rico Day in Tallahassee. This virtual advocacy event for the Puerto Rican and Latino community in the middle of the legislative session will be a day of action and advocacy at the Florida Capitol on environmental/climate justice, voting rights legislation, and the immigrant community. During this day, we will prioritize the projects of education, housing, support for the environment, and health.
