School Safety & Truancy Reduction; provides for dropout prevention & academic intervention program; provides procedures for notice to & response from parent, guardian, or legal custodian prior to placement in program or provision of services to student; allows Manatee Co. District School Board to raise compulsory age of attendance for children; places responsibility on school district superintendents for enforcing attendance, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
