HB 347: Domestic Violence

GENERAL BILL by Law Enforcement & Crime Prevention ; Futch ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman ; Crow ; Ritchie ; Henriquez

Domestic Violence; provides that it is unlawful for person subject to injunction for protection against domestic violence to refuse to surrender any firearm or ammunition in his or her custody, or to interfere with or obstruct law enforcement officer enforcing injunction; provides penalty; reenacts provision re when arrest is made by law enforcement officer without warrant to incorporate said amendment in reference, etc. Amends 741.31, 787.04; reenacts 901.15(6).
