GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Meek

Deferred Presentments; provides additional grounds for disciplinary action; revises deposit of fees & assessments; adds fee for authorized vendor or branch locations; creates part IV of Money Transmitters' Code; provides registration requirements for deferred presentment transactions; provides procedures for recovering damages for worthless checks; provides that counties & municipalities may enact more restrictive ordinances, etc. Amends Ch. 560. APPROPRIATION: $150,000.
