SB 1876: Teacher Protection Act
GENERAL BILL by Cowin
Teacher Protection Act; creates said act; provides legislative findings & definitions; provides that educational entities & employees are not subject to liability for certain acts re control & discipline of students; provides exceptions; prohibits punitive & exemplary damages; provides penalties for filing false accusations of criminal activity against employees of educational entities; provides that maintenance of insurance is not waiver of defenses, etc.
