GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Children and Families ; Peaden

Residential Group Care; repeals provision re mandatory assessment of specified children for placement in licensed such care; prescribes procedures for mandatory assessment of certain children for placement in licensed residential group care; clarifies that CFS Dept. may place child who is in its custody in residential treatment center without prior approval of court; provides criteria for number of children placed in each family foster home, etc. Amends FS.
