CS/HB 1039: Unclaimed Property

GENERAL BILL by Kendrick

Unclaimed Property; revises criteria for presuming as unclaimed certain bank deposits & funds in financial organizations, funds owing under life insurance policies, funds held by business associations, & property held in safe-deposit box or other safekeeping repository, respectively; provides presumptions for certain unclaimed demand, savings, or checking accounts in financial institutions in name of more than one person, etc. Amends Ch. 717, 212.02, 322.142, 395.3025.
