HB 1399: Sexually Transmissible Disease Test

GENERAL BILL by Proctor ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cannon ; Goldstein ; Homan ; Traviesa ; Zapata

Sexually Transmissible Disease Test; revises criteria for releasing preliminary HIV test results; provides that informed consent is not required to test pregnant women for HIV; requires certain positive test results to be reported to DOH within specified period of time; revises provisions re method of reporting of test results, time period during which reports must be made, content of reports, enforcement requirements, & followup activities, etc. Amends 381.004, 384.25,.31.
