CS/CS/SB 2010: Forensic Treatment & Training
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Children and Families ; Baker
Forensic Treatment & Training; revises legislative intent re treatment or training of defendants who are mentally ill, retarded, or autistic & are committed to Agency for Persons with Disabilities; provides that it is intent of Legislature to reduce use of restraint & seclusion on persons who are committed to civil or forensic facilities; provides that escape or attempt to escape from civil or forensic facility constitutes second-degree felony, etc. Amends FS.
        
        Effective Date: Upon becoming law
