GENERAL BILL by Wilson

Firearms [LPCC]; provides for reclassification of felony if person carries, displays, uses, or threatens to use semiautomatic firearm & its detachable high-capacity magazine or machine gun during commission of felony; provides for minimum mandatory sentence of 3 years if felon possesses ammunition during commission of certain enumerated offenses; increases severity of penalty from misdemeanor of first degree to felony of third degree, etc. Amends FS.
