GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Lawson
Title Insurance [EPCC]; provides additional requirements for nonresident title insurance agent licensure; provides exception to prohibition against dealing in certain premiums; revises rate & rate-deviation requirements; revises determination of insurability & records retention requirements; clarifies content of estoppel letters sent to mortgagors; adds title insurance agents for purpose of assigning liability for damages, etc. Amends Chs. 626, 627, 701.
