CS/CS/SB 1080: Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Higher Education Appropriations ; Peaden ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Joyner ; Gaetz

Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPCC]; Establishes the center within the University of South Florida. Provides for the administration of the center. Eliminates the board of directors and the council of scientific advisors. Revises the grant award process for the center. Provides a limitation on expenditures. Requires the university to establish an account for charitable donations and separate accounts for other funds, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
