SB 1056: Infant Eye Care

GENERAL BILL by Sachs

Infant Eye Care; Requires certain eye examinations for all infants born in hospitals in the state. Exempts this requirement from provisions relating to a penalty. Revises an exception to certain applicability requirements concerning infant eye care. Provides that coverage for children under health insurance policies and health maintenance organization contracts must include certain eye examinations for infants and children.
