CS/SB 1340: Continuing Care Retirement Communities

GENERAL BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Bogdanoff

Continuing Care Retirement Communities; Provides for the provision of continuing care at-home. Amends provisions relating to the requirement for certificates of authority. Requires that a person in the business of issuing continuing care at-home contracts obtain a certificate of authority from the Office of Financial Regulation. Requires written approval from the Office of Financial Regulation for a 20 percent or more expansion in the number of continuing care at-home contracts. Provides additional requirements for continuing care at-home contracts, etc.
