CS/CS/SB 2086: Elections

GENERAL BILL by Rules ; Rules Subcommittee on Ethics and Elections ; Rules Subcommittee on Ethics and Elections

Elections; Expands the list of responsibilities of the Secretary of State when acting in his or her capacity as chief election officer. Replaces a requirement for the Department of State to print copies of a pamphlet containing the Election Code with a requirement that the pamphlet be made available. Requires that third-party voter registration organizations register with the Division of Elections. Requires such organizations to provide the division with certain information, etc.

Effective Date: upon becoming a law, except as otherwise provided
