GENERAL BILL by Appropriations

Education Funding; Requiring the Auditor General to conduct annual audits of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind; extending the date for future legislative review and repeal of provisions governing the Florida Endowment for Vocational Rehabilitation; requiring the 300 lowest-performing elementary schools to provide a specified summer school program; revising the schools that may be considered small, isolated schools to include elementary schools that meet certain requirements, for the purpose of determining the annual allocation to each district, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2017
