Mental Illness Training for Law Enforcement Officers; Requiring the Department of Law Enforcement to establish a continued employment training component relating to mental illness; requiring that the training component include instruction on the recognition of and appropriate responses to individuals exhibiting certain symptoms or characteristics; authorizing completion of the training to count toward continued employment or appointment instruction requirements, etc.
