GENERAL BILL by Rules ; Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services ; Health Policy ; Collins

Department of Health; Repealing a provision which provides for the repeal of the definition of the term “messenger ribonucleic acid vaccine”; defining terms for purposes of background screening requirements for persons affiliated with medical marijuana treatment centers; requiring medical marijuana treatment centers to notify the Department of Health through electronic mail within a specified timeframe after an actual or attempted theft, diversion, or loss of marijuana; authorizing certain physician assistants to be issued temporary certificates for practice in areas of critical need, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, or, if this act fails to become a law until after June 1, 2025, it shall take effect upon becoming a law and shall operate retroactively to June 1, 2025, this act shall take effect July 1, 2025
