SB 682: Violent Criminal Offenses

GENERAL BILL by Calatayud

Violent Criminal Offenses; Citing this act as the “Domestic Emergency and Batterers Reform and Accountability Act”; requiring the emergency communications state plan to include a system or process to flag specified addresses; requiring emergency medical technicians and paramedics to complete training in the subject of domestic violence, dating violence, and strangulation for certification and recertification; authorizing, and in certain circumstances requiring, a court to order electronic monitoring in domestic violence cases; providing for enhanced penalties for a violation of an injunction for protection against domestic violence, etc.
