GENERAL BILL by Gaetz

School Safety; Authorizing public postsecondary educational institutions to participate in the school guardian program; authorizing certain college or university employees, faculty members, and students to openly carry a handgun or carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm into a college or university facility; creating the offense of discharging a weapon or firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect upon becoming a law
