607.0402  Reserved name.--

(1)  A person may reserve the exclusive use of a corporate name, including a fictitious name for a foreign corporation the corporate name to which is not available, by delivering an application to the Department of State for filing. The application must set forth the name and address of the applicant and the name proposed to be reserved. If the Department of State finds that the corporate name applied for is available, it shall reserve the name for the exclusive use of the applicant for a nonrenewable 120-day period.

(2)  The Department of State may revoke any reservation if, after a hearing, it finds that the application therefor or any transfer thereof was not made in good faith.
