393.21  Developmental services institutions; procedure for naming.--The ¹Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services shall, by October 1, 1981, develop rules for the naming of any developmental services institution, as defined in s. 393.063. Rules shall provide for name selection based on input from local groups, including, but not limited to, facility staff, residents, parents of residents, and advocacy groups. The district administrator in whose district the developmental services institution is located shall have the authority to make the final decision on the selection of a name.
