Provisions for the protection of property by district boards of trustees.
240.376 Provisions for the protection of property by district boards of trustees.--The district boards of trustees shall be responsible for managing and protecting real and personal property acquired or held in trust for use by and for the benefit of such college. To that end, any board is authorized to be self-insured, to enter into risk management programs, or to purchase insurance for whatever coverage it may choose, or to have any combination thereof, in anticipation of any loss, damage, or destruction.
