Withholding refund of motor vehicle impact fee.
61.13017 Withholding refund of motor vehicle impact fee.--The Department of Revenue must notify the Department of Banking and Finance of the names of delinquent child support obligors and the amount of the delinquencies. If a delinquent child support obligor is entitled to receive a refund of the motor vehicle impact fee from the state, the Department of Banking and Finance must, upon such notice, withhold the amount of the delinquency from the refund to that obligor. The Department of Banking and Finance shall notify the obligors that their refund is being withheld pursuant to this section for the purpose of paying the obligor's delinquent child support obligations. The Department of Banking and Finance must transmit the amount withheld to the Department of Revenue to be applied to the delinquent child support obligation and transmit the balance, if any, to the delinquent obligor.
