SB 214: Sentencing/Criminal Punishment Code

GENERAL BILL

Sentencing/Criminal Punishment Code; provides that person convicted of certain violent offenses against law enforcement officer, correctional officer, state attorney, assistant state attorney, justice, or judge be sentenced under certain uniform penalties rather than under Criminal Punishment Code; provides for uniform penalties for offense of being accessory to crime; provides applicability, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 10/01/1998 except as otherwise provided
