SB 424: Violent Offenders/Public Notices

GENERAL BILL by Crist

Violent Offenders/Public Notices; requires sheriff or chief of police of county or municipality wherein offender released from incarceration plans to reside to notify public if offender is violent offender; specifies information to be provided to public; defines term "violent offender" for certain purposes, to mean person who has been convicted of specified violent felonies or convicted of attempt or conspiracy to commit such felonies. Creates 775.212.
