GENERAL BILL by Health Care Licensing & Regulation ; Boyd
Health Dept./Professions/Licensing; authorizes Health Dept., if there is no regulatory board, to adopt rules to establish criteria for continuing education courses required for renewal of license; prohibits persons from using name or title of "nurse" unless licensed or certified as such; exempts resident physicians, interns, & fellows, whether registered or applying for registration, from credentialing & profiling requirements, etc. Amends 455.557,.564,.565,.624, 464.015,.016.
