GENERAL BILL by Health Care Services ; Johnson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Russell ; Green ; Morroni ; Harrington ; Crist

Pharmacy Patient Privacy Act of 1999; defines term "data communication device"; revises definition of term "practice of profession of pharmacy"; authorizes redispensing of unused or returned unit-dose medication by correctional facilities under certain conditions; clarifies use of records for research; restricts use of records for compliance services; redefines term "wholesale distribution", etc. Amends 465.003,.014,.015,.016,.017,.0196, 468.812, 499.003,.012.
